Hi! I have a question! My notebook is supposed to have Windows Vista. But I installed 7 and now I have problems with wi-fi drivers and wireless home net. Can it be caused by incompatibility of drivers for Windows 7 and notebook hardware?

Not really- what Wi-Fi card and driver version do you use (model and driver version number)
Also make sure that in Windows advanced power management options Wi-Fi is set to max performance not power-saving.

Windows has probably installed some kind of default driver so go to Device Manager (right click My computer, choose properties and click device Manager in upper left corner of the window that opens) and check the model and driver version of Wi-Fi.
It's also possible that you can't enable the card because you don't have Launch Manager installed- it's the software that's needed for Wi-Fi enable/disable button to work. You can find one here.

    Download

    try this page
    1) Choose your laptop model (in your case Aspire 5738)
    2) Choose your operating system (in your case windows 7 x64 or x86)
    3) you will see all the drivers available download the one with Wireless in front of it (Intel or Atheros depending on the type you have on your laptop)

in order to know your wireless model the easiest way is to download the tool from the same page it has a description of "If you don't know your hardware or something like that" and it shall tell you which wireless adapter you have
    4) Install the downloaded driver
