    Acer Aspire 5738 doesn't switch on

    okay, basicly my laptop is an aser aspire , yesterday it was off all day turned it on at like 5 pm left it on till next morning when i wokeup it was not working tryed to take off the battery and put it again still not working used the laptop without the battery just the charger still not working nothing is giving light or any sort of life in it please some help?

    Acer Aspire what? Model number might be useful (if it's a known problem with this model or for other users of the same unit to chime in)

    It's possible that the laptop could be in a power state preventing it from booting properly. Try disconnecting the power cable and remove the battery from the laptop. Once done, leave both disconnected from the computer for at least a minute. After a minute put the battery back in the computer, connect the power cable, and try turning the computer on again.
