Hello guys, i have an Acer Aspire 5738G which has been working fine the last months. However, a problem has started occurring and i really don't know what to do.
While i am playing Football Manager 2013, after an hour or so, my laptop shuts down by itself! I think it may be overheating, but i don't know how to solve this problem. Can you please recommend me anything? It's really frustrating. Thank you!

Use HWMonitor or similar software to measure temperatures under load for both CPU and GPU.
Also make sure that the vents are dust-free (canned air aka gas-duster comes in handy here)

Weirdly it's not overheating. GPU temp is fine too.

Maybe because the game has been running for only 10 minutes after start-up of the laptop?

Possibly but still temperatures should be higher at this point if that was the case of overheating.

Does it happen in this game only or in any other game too?
Are the drivers and the game itself up to date?
