I have the necessary cables to hook up my Xbox to a LCD monitor, as I have been playing on one for quite some time. I also have all the correct audio splitters to end up plugging it into the laptop/computer.

Now my question is, will this all work on my laptop? I've tried to do it, but when I get it all plugged in and I turn the Xbox on, the screen just starts re-aligning itself and it turns off the widescreen and sets the two black bars, then 3 seconds later, it re-defaults to widescreen, and repeats through the sequence, etc..

    Any suggestions?
