I know I may be stubborn, but I want to get this laptop running the best it can have.

    Acer Aspire 5740-5847 - Core i3 330M 2.13 GHz - 15.6" TFT specs and Laptop specifications - CNET Reviews

I have that laptop but mine is the upgraded 4gigs from 3 gigs of RAM. I'm extremely impressed with its performance so far!

My question is: Is it possible with this laptop/model to get an aftermarket graphics card? Or is that out of the question? I guess I'm just trying to get the best possible game performance out of this notebook. Any tips, tweaks, or tricks to help me push its performance? Overclocking? Anything? Any suggestions?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    -Brad

It cannot be upgraded- no MXM slot.
The rest of your questions have been already answered in the owners lounge

Thank you very much for your prompt response. After searching the stickies more in-depth, I soon found out that it would be impossible. :(

Could I ask for your e-mail or IM contact? I would like to ask you a few questions. If not, that's okay.

Post your questions in the Owners Lounge- may be someone else will benefit from it. You need at least six posts (I think) to get PM enabled anyway.
