    Hi,

I bought this new laptop recently (from Medimarkt in Germany). It comes with Windows 7 Home premium (64 bit German). I installed Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit English) and downloaded the respective drivers from the Acer website.

I have some questions regarding issues I am facing :

    i) The wireless LED light on the laptop is always blinking when its in use. I have no problems with the wireless. Before when the laptop came with the original Windows 7 it was a stable light. How to fix it ?

ii)I downloaded one driver called 'AHCI_Intel'. It has 2 setup files 'iata_cd' and 'iata_enu'. Which one fits with this model ?

iii) The on-screen display does not show when I change the brightness level of the screen. The volume indicator does work. How can i fix it ?

iv) Where is the windows recovery CD that came with the laptop. I hear it is supposed to be saved somewhere. If I want to revert back to the original software that the laptop came with then how do I go about doing that ?

Thank you for your patience. I hope I get some answers.

    Cheers,
    J.
