    Acer Aspire 5742g screen problem

    In the last few weeks a one pixel wide green line running from the top of the screen to the bottom has appeared on my 2yo acer. The screen's usually fine but sometimes when i move the screen the line appears and then it'll disappear when i adjust the screen again. The performance doesn't seem to be affected thankfully.
    I'll admit i'm not particularly gentle with my laptop so it's had a few knocks in it's time. I've read a few things about the GPU going which has got me a bit worried :confused:
    Anyone know what this could be? Any help is much appreciated :)
