I have an Acer Aspire 5810T Timeline. After having booting issues, I did a factory restore. Afterwards, it booted fine a couple of time then stopped. Now, it will power up, but nothing on the screen, completely blank. Tried removing and reinserting the HDD, resetting the BIOS battery and checked the heat sink and fan. Nothing is happening. Any suggestions to revive it or should I just scrap it?

Just wondering, when you say "completely blank", does that mean that even BIOS is not working? In other words, can you confirm, that you can enter the BIOS setup?

I am facing the same problem. I purchased the acer machine Aspire 4820 TG four months ago. It worked fine for four months. Then I faced a problem that power supply is ON but the machine is not getting started after pressing the power button repeatedly. Also LED for power supply was not glowing. I thought it was problem of adaptor. I contacted the acer support and got the adapter replaced, but no use. I again contacted support and visited the service centre. Got the machine repaired. It worked fine for one or two days and I again faced the same problem. (Its a dead machine). Any help . . ??
