Well guys i need your help.... I got Acer Aspire 5920. The config that was available:
Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 (2.0 Ghz, 667 Mhz FSB)
    2 GB Ram
    160 Gb HDD
and all the other stuff we get with an Aspire 5920

But when i took the delivery i came to know that i had received some diff config which was,
Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 (2.2 Ghz, 800 Mhz FSB)
    2 GB RAM
    160 Gb HDD
and all the other stuff we get with an Aspire 5920 but the sticker was saying the original config which is described at the start.
    1) So how come that i received some other processor than the available one?
    2) Has such a thing happned in anybodys else case? So is management of company so weak that they dont even know what processors they are installing?
    3) Also my reseller has not pointed out about this diffrence to me. So whether when in future if i go to a service centre for service will there be any issue about the processor?
    4) Also will company take any action against this???
Guys plz help me i am very very confused.........
    Thanks in advance

    Damm man, awesome blunder lol

You got a better CPU than advertised. Its the Santa-Rosa platform, instead of the older set.

Only thing to be sure of is the warranty. Since its different specs, the warranty may pose some problems. Should check with Acer about this.

Well, there is not much of a big difference in performance between the two CPUs - T5750 and T7500.
For everyday tasks, the CPU performance doesn't count.

You can verify the CPU using CPU-Z.

I've got the 5920. It came with the 5750, but swapped it for the t7500, (had it from an old laptop). There isn't a massive difference in performance although the t7500 is a higher spec one.

    Intel T5750 specs:

    http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SLA4D

    Intels T7500 specs:

    http://processorfinder.intel.com/Details.aspx?sSpec=SLA3N

The T7500 has double the amount of L2 cache 4mb, versus the 2mb in the T5750.

There is a 10% increase in CPU speed and the bus speed is up from 667mhz to 800mhz.

I guess make sure the waranty etc is valid with the different spec, and run cpu-z just to make sure that is what you have.

I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem with acer if you needed to go to their support for any reason as they do ship the 5920 with the T7500 (as you well know lol). I guess it's a blunder from the resellers side but i wouldn't expect any repercussions from it. It may even be that they had no 5920's with the 5750 so they gave you one with the T7500.

Acer Empowering Technology you can find on this page Acer Empowering Technology (links placed at the top of the page). First of all, you need to install Microsoft NET Framework 1.1 and Acer Emowering Framework

    I have acer 5920g 933g25m(T9300), I don't understand that, it has firewire port but it's 1394A or 1394B ? which? I don't understand. I will buy a external harddisk. If it has 1394A port,I'll buy USB2.0 harddisk; it has 1394B port, I'll buy 1394b harddisk.
    (sorry, I know a little English :) )
    please help me...

1394B devices are fully capable with 1394A so it won't be a big problem to connect the 1394B harddisc to 1394A port. I also recomend you to use the additional power supply for your external harddisk
