    Acer Aspire 5920G LCD Inverter

    Hello!
    I'm usually on the Sager side of the forums, but a friend of mine needed help with his Acer. He needed a replacement for his LCD Inverter.

    Now i've found several online, and most say they're the right LCD inverter for the 5920G. But their part numbers don't really match and i looked through the online manual for the parts list as well.

    Can anyone help and tell me which one is the right part or if they're all the same part just numbered differently?

    I've found this for you: ACER Notebook Repair Parts | Category: LCD Inverters
    Part numbers: THSE22100,AS023192302,T181082.01
    matching with the inverter from CDS parts.com
    However, it's safer to open up see the actual part number in the current inverter and compare that with the one you want to buy.
    It's entirely up to you whether you want the original part or compatible part.
    I'm going to try a compatible inverter in my 5610z this afternoon I'll let you know how it goes.

    Update: Fixed the new inverter and it didn't make any change in screen brightness, have just ordered a new screen.

    Thank you for the reply! I ordered the part from CDSparts and hopefully it's the right inverter since i'll be sending it abroad and won't know for sure for a couple of weeks.
