    hey guys..
well, i need some help here, my acer's HDD sometimes freeze after 'x' hours, the HDD simply stops working as it's lid doesn't blink anymore, and the screen seems to be fine, i could move around with the mouse pointer, but nothing works at all. i have to turn off my machine manually after the HDD freezing.
i'm using vista on my machine though.

Oh...wow never had this happen. I can keep this thing open after days. Try changing your power settings. There might be a problem with your HDD coming out of turn off. Or maybe you should Update the BIOS
