Hello! I own an Acer Aspire 5943G notebook and from nearly half a year from now I am experienceing problems with my ATI graphics card. The problem is the following- I cannot install the latest drivers. I tried everything, read everywhere, tried installing Acer's stock drivers and then updating to the newest ATI drivers but everytime I end up with a system restore. The notebook is running Windows 7 Home Premium x64. Here's an image of the message that comes after I try installing the latest drivers from 7/27/2011 - ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting

Thanks in advance and I hope that someone will finally help me get rid of this problem!

P.S: This is my first post here, so excuse me if I've made any mistakes.

    Welcome to the forum Thundy
Use this direct link to get around AMD download manager and see if it helps.
It's official driver- the same that download manager refuses to download for some reason.

Thank you for your fast reply, downloads. The link you gave me worked, the drivers started installing but suddenly my screen went black and after 5 minutes of inactivity my notebook rebooted. The interesting thing is that when I go check my driver version in dxdiag, it shows that it's version is updated - 7/8/2011 - ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting.
Does this mean that my driver update is succesful, depsite of the instant reboot I got?

    Best regards,

    Thundy

Yes it worked. No idea what caused this unexpected reboot but at least you're using the most recent drivers.
In future just use the link I provided and change version number in bold.
Later this month just change "7" to "8" (in "11-7_mobility") and download the August ones.
