    Hello,
I have an Acer Aspire 5943G, Just recently had it back from repairs, Ive since used it for about a week,.

Today I booted up my machine everything seemed to load fine, I got the acer logo and windows anmation logos popping up on startup but after that it switches to a black screen and you can hear the greating audio in the background, I even tried typing my password in and you can hear it loading in the background.

Im currently using my laptop with a HDMI cable attatched to my TV and the laptop itself is running fine, Its just By itself the screen is black and I can't see anything.

Anyone got any ideas on any possible causes or quick fixes? Perhaps iv'e accidently pressed a key or combination of keys that has done something?

Eitherway I guess I will have to contact Acer warranty when they open on monday morning.

    Thanks for any help.
    -Marc

Check drivers and update if necessary.
It looks like a Windows issue rather than a hardware one.
