Since this is my dad's, I didn't see it when he first got it. I live in Montreal and he lives in Toronto, but I am back for the long weekend and I have to teach him how to use all the features lol.
Build quality is excellent, keyboard has very little flex, and the side control is very responsive. The screen is glossy but there isn't much reflection. The screen doesn't tilt all the way back but the top and side views seems to give reasonably good viewing angles. The right side of the keyboard is a bit scrunched (yes, I need to learn how to take better pics) but this is normal in most laptops. Runs very cool so far and fairly quiet.
Haven't fully explored the Blu-Ray or webcam yet, but will update this review accordingly. The following benchmarks were taken on the system as preconfigured, I'm sure with a few minor optimizations, they could be better.
Balanced Power: 3 hours battery life, Power saver: 3.5 hours

Hard disk is slower than should be. WD3200BEVT easily has average read over 50 MB/s. -
sorry, been a bit busy, when I'm slowly adding to it
when it's complete I'll send it over. I'll recheck HDTune though.

i got 4400 points at 3dmark06 with 9500M GS 475/950/400 @ 650/1300/475 (core/shaders/memory)
playing crysis 1280x720 all setting @ medium 20fps or more... using drivers 169.04...
overclock locked on this NB, overclock only works with driver 169.04 or flashing the bios
ps: with 169.04 you can't run blu-ray videos
