Not sure what fitting a different resolution screen would make. Would you be able to alter the graphics to suit... does your graphics card/driver support that resolution. That's something you need to ask and be sure on.

I see the same screen resolution as yours are in the link but out of stock.

The invertor produces a high voltage to power the backlight, both of which remain unaltered for just replacing the screen. So you don't need an invertor.

    @ wildcatk23

You need double LVDS for screens with resolution higher than 1400x900.
Make sure your notebook is capable of that and that it has a proper cable with this interface.

Consult a Service Guide for 6930 that can be found on the net.

It tells me that unless you are sure, then you need to get the exact same as is coming out :)

In practice I suspect that the AT types are the ones you want and that the difference in last digits A02 A01 etc will be down to specific properties such as brightness, light transmission etc.

I just looked up my Aspire screens there are half a dozen different ones listed in the parts list, Acer CrystalBrite etc, although they are all listed as Samsung manufacture.

Why not ask the supplier... they should have the answers I would have thought.

Yes, although you may need to replace a cable (interface) from 15 pin (single LVDS) to 30 pin (double-LVDS).
It would be useful if someone who knows more about it or already upgraded 6920 or 6930 with Full HD screen would chime in at this point.

I recently upgraded the screen on a 6920g for a friend, original was LTN160AT01 A01 and upgraded it to a LTN160HT01 A02 from ebay, it did require a different screen cable to get the screen working properly but that was all.
