    Hi all,

Purchased An Acer aspire 6930g laptop around a 2 months ago and within the last 2 weeks it has started to develop a screen problem were it will ocassioanly flicker or jump or shake the whole display for around 10 seconds. I have noticed that it only seems to do it when the screen is at 90 degrees or less. When the screen is tilted back the problem doesnt seem to occur.

Please could someone give me advice on what to do or what the problem is? Id much prefer to get it sorted without returning it to acer as im just starting at Uni and the laptop is pretty essential,

    Many thanks,

    Jon

seems to me it would be best to return it and get replacement.
I doubt you can fix it because its probably hardware malfunction...

anything unusual happend before this started happening? did you drop it, or updeted graphics drivers?

Hi, sounds like the ribbon cable to the display screen, could be a loose connection, which means dismantling the laptop to get at it...
