Acer Aspire 6935G Mouse

Hey All,

Booted my laptop up about half an hour ago and when it booted into Windows I noticed that the mouse was not working & the cursor did not move at all, tried the left & right click but still nothing. Decided to plug my USB optical mouse and I was able to use the cursor then. Rebooted the laptop but the mouse would still not work after. Then I came up with the FN + F7 key method but then it only came up saying that the touchpad is now disabled, then i did they key method again & enabled the mouse once more but it still would not work! I then looked in the device manager only to find that the laptop's mouse had dissappeared! Also looked in the Synaptics manager and the mouse was missing out of there too! I thought this could possibly be a driver issue so I attempted to add new hardware & see if it could pick up the mouse but that did not work either! Now that all my options were used up I was a bit stuck. Then randomly for some reason, an idea about turning the laptop off & removing the battery & inserting it back in came into my head, so I did that and guess what! After i re-booted up the laptop again the mouse suddenly starts working again! Does anyone have a possible idea to why the mouse just suddenly refused to work when I first booted the machine up or is this just a one-off mouse boot or software issue?
