Hi All
I currently have a Nvidia 9600m gt in place, from what I have read this is a laptop that is upgradeable but I am unsure to what....
I am also aware that if I go to far I can run into issues regarding power consumption. Can this be over come by using a beefier PSU?
I am wanting to know has ANYONE successfully made a decent improvement from upgrading this and to what?
Thanks in advance
Mike

What is the point? Even integrated graphics are faster than anything MXM2.1
I think the best MXM 2.1 card was the FX3700M -
Actually it's even worse than that, the laptop is MXM 2.1 Type II (the FX3700M is MXM 2.1 Type HE), so the best one is MSi HD4670, which is rare and expensive and pointless nowadays (I have it, so I know). There are no more 16" machines, but if you can step down (15.6") or up (17.3") there are PLENTY of newer options.

No, this one is MXM-A and you need MXM-II.
