for upgrading acer video cards take a look at this thread as some acers have MXM video cards if you DO NOT have integrated intel graphics.

for the processor alot of the Aspires are an easy upgrade, go ask the guys and gals in the acer forum and they can help you much more as most of my Acer units are stock and then I just get rid of them when they dont suit their purposes.

The 7520-5757 is not a 7520G - it does not come with a dedicated graphics card or MXM slot, only the on-board GeForce 7000M. And since that is integrated into the motherboard's chipset, it cannot be upgraded. Sorry!
As for the CPU, you can upgrade to an AMD Turion X2 TL-56/58/60/64/66 at 1.8/1.9/2.0/2.2/2.3 GHz, respectively.

It would cost more than a new laptop, and there would be no guarantees that the 7520G's motherboard would fit, thermal-wise or physically.
Processors would be purchased off eBay - the most expensive one I could find was the top-of-the-line TL-66 at 2.3 GHz for $160 US.

Honestly, I would advise against it. Save the money you would've spent on the CPU/GPU upgrade, and just buy a new laptop, one with a GPU capable of doing all you want to do.
That's what I did - my laptop a year ago was a turdly little Acer TravelMate 3252WXMi, with a Core Duo (not even Core 2 Duo!) T2300E at 1.66 GHz and the Intel GMA 950. Then I bought this beauty, and I've never been happier.
