    Hello all dear Acer-fellows,

My problem is pretty weird but I hope that you could help me figure this out.

    So what's my problem?

I got some internet problems in the past, I had some DNS-problems which leaded to format my PC. At the time I didn't know I can restart my PC with factory settings without a Windows CD. So my friend got a Windows Vista CD with his Acer. It was dif. model: Travelmate. I thought It didn't matter, because both of these are Acers and both has a Win Vista.

My friend had the same DNS problem in the past and he did the same thing as me, format PC. After installing Win Vista from this very same CD he started to have some problems which were lagging, exe failures etc.

I thought that it can't be CD's fault. After installing the Vista from the CD I downloaded every driver for my PC from support.acer.eu etc so I did get my ePower stuff to working. Everything seemed be alright but then...

I got these weird laggings, music was lagging, my videos, normal softwares and everything. I checked my processor usage percent, 40 exes running and it is around 3% to 15% at most. I have no clue why this PC is lagging so much without even Aero-mode. RAM-light keeps on all the time...

My guess is that I have downloaded wrong drivers for some hardware, but dont know which one. I tried to download newest drivers for my GeForce 8400G but in the setup I got error which tells me that I don't have that hardware. Could it be that?

I can order from Acer my very own Win Vista + all the originalsettings in CD which cost 30$ but will it remove my problem?

Sorry guys if this problemtelling was too long and you fell asleep while reading this but... I hope some of you fellows maybe know the answer.

    Thanks and good night!
