    Hello,

    I have read about the boot loop on these acers. I've had it before, it just keeps restarting untill I turn the power off. But back then it went on, started cooling, shut down, turned on again started cooling, and off again, repeatedly.

    The problem I have now is; it turns on with cooling, then it turns off, and then basically the power button only starts blinking, it does nothing else... no cooling anymore either.
    The cooling fan seems to be working properly, I tried Fn+esc to see if it would be cooling and that worked fine.

    What I've tried:
    Starting without HDD's, without RAM and a combination. No difference, tried opening it up and pressing the CMOS, no success either. I have no soldering equipment whatsoever, so I have no idea what else I can do.

    Please help, and if you need more information that can be provided.

    Edit:
    This is an Acer Aspire 7520G - 502G32Mi
    AMD Turion TL-60 2x 2,0 GHz with an nVidia GeForce 8400M
    Had a memory update about a year ago, from 2 to 4 GB.

    Did some random things again;
    Tried pressing on/around the touchpad, no luck. Middle of keyboard (already tried pressing CMOS but that was inevitable.)

    Don't know what else I could try.

    It never gets into POST. Nor does it have a functional DVD drive, so I don't know how I could do that.

    Got out of my boot loop!

    What I did:
    Put my laptop on my bed, let it do the boot loop till it turned off.

    Then I turned it on again and it didn't do the boot loop anymore, I connected my battery + adapter, and then started it up and it ran!
