I have an Acer Aspire 7551-7422 that will not boot properly. It appears to just stop after the 'starting windows' screen and will not boot the rest of the way. If I hit f2 on startup and tell it to run a memory diagnostic scan, it runs the scan then boots up fine afterward but never finds any errors. This is the only way I can get it to boot up. Once it is booted up everything is fine and it will even restart like normal. It only seems to not want to boot after it has been shutdown for a while. Unfortunately, I'm not very good at the technical part of computers. Can anyone help me pin-point what the problem might be?

It would be best to just reinstall Windows or use Acer eRecovery to recover it to factory state.
It's most likely a software issue, not a hardware problem.
