    Acer Aspire 7715z fails to sleep properly.

    I have an Acer Aspire 7715z laptop which fails to sleep. Instead, it switches the power off and restarting the computer results in a normal boot sequence. This happens in both Windows 7 and Linux (Debian).

    Does anyone having the same laptop experience the same problem? I am posting because I need to know whether this is a hardware problem or a software bug.
