I bought an Acer Aspire 7720G earlier this year, some time ard february, for school purposes. It is running on a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 Hyper Memory.

Each time i start playing a game, in this instance World of Warcraft, it will be fine at first. It will run smoothly and I'll be getting framerates of 40-60. But after 15mins into the game, everything will start to lag down terribly. I would get framerates of below 20. And this will last for 5-10mins and then it will resume to be normal again. The cycle will go on and on up to a point where i'll get 1 FPS and this is ridiculous!

When I first bought the laptop, this already happened. I thought maybe my laptop couldn't handle it. A couple of months later, the lag stopped. I can't remember what I did but i managed to have my games run smoothly all the time. Recently the lag starts again, I don't know why! Uuurrgghh!

    Help me please!!!

have you cleaned the fan and the fins that are next to the fan??

i would suggest keeping the TASK MANAGER running in the systray, and when speeds drop considerably, you can use the ALT+TAB to switch to task manager and see what processes are hogging the system resources
