Hi I try to install a little tv antenna on my Acer Aspire 7720G, not a Tv tuner card but a simpel antenna connected through a "RF-in jack" stick...
I got the antenna with the PC when i bought it...
The only infomation I can get about it is that it's from acer and that there stands "SignalUp" and "DVB-T" on it, and of course "Acer"...
Please Help Me![]()

What you need is an antenna for Digital Video Broadcasting - Terrestrial. These antennas should be in general easy to find, if your country is using DVB-T. It should be in the best case be capable of receiving frequencies in range of 174MHz to 230 MHz in the Very High Frequency range and 470MHz to 956MHz in Ultra High Frequency range. Depending on the location where you live, there is a good chance that not all frequency ranges will be used for DVB-T.
Next problem is the connector. If you could post it's picture maybe I could identify it. It should be some standard type of connector.
If you want the original part, then I think that the part number is 50.ABD02.003. I am not 100% certain about this. In some Acer spare parts stores, it is listed as "Cable Antenna PAL - NTSC DVB - T" but on some PDF document that Google found, it is listed as antenna. I also found on some Italian a post about a person who upgraded his laptop to use DVB-T. The user said that the part number of the antenna is 50.ABD02.003. The link to that post is here http://www.hwupgrade.it/forum/showpost.php?p=23384836&postcount=607. I unfortunately do not know Italian, so my information about the post I placed link to comes from Google Translate.
