I've updated the bios from version 1.43 to 1.45 (recommended by Acer), same result. After that i've contacted the Acer Support and the answer is this: :![]()

I removed personal information concerning both you and Acer Employee you were in contact with. Replaced with X and Acer Employee in bold respectively.
-
Try installing v1.45 "MXM Edition" from the x920G vs. 9600M GT thread. If that doesn't fix it, then chances are you have a defective (or vendor-locked) card.
-
Do you have a link? I searched for 2 hours
-
Ok, found it, did the trick, but nothing happend. I dont know why...
-
Ok...did the dos upgrade thing, but managed to brick it.
Laptop starts but after 10 sec. its shutting down, i did like 5 cd's with the bios, and did the procedure, but nothing happens. I reseted the BIOS, still nothing,
Whats next??
I received the answer from ACER to.
YEY for me)
Can someone give me a clue? -
Is the GPU core making contact with the heatsink? If not, you may need a copper shim.
Also, try shorting out the BIOS battery for a few seconds, to reset the CMOS. Although the 7720 stores most of its settings in the NVRAM, the CMOS can still cause problems sometimes. -
I did that to, with no result what so ever, the same simptoms....again and again and again....

oooooooooooooohhhh dit it
but, another strange thing happend, the cd worked for like 50 minutes when i got bored and pulled the cable out. Reboot it and now i have a fully functional BIOS mxm version, says that on the screen. The sad part is that the 9500m GS still doesnt work..

Thanks in advance. -
The battery is near the volume wheel.
However, shorting the battery will likely only help if the machine is shutting down a few seconds after starting recovery. If the fans don't even spin up (and especially if the power button doesn't flash), then it's a hardware issue.
