Hi. Yesterday I bought Acer 7736ZG and I'm very unsatisfied with the way the cooling fan works. All my previous notebooks could keep fan low rotation speed to be cool and quiet, this Acer notebook is too stupid: it turns on the fan with a serious noise when the CPU temperature increases to 38 degrees celsius and turns it off when the temperature drops to 31 degrees. The fan is too loud. This is TOO ANNOYING even when working, and I can't leave this notebook at night to download files because this sound prevents me from sleeping. I've downloaded a lot of programs that control fan speed on other computers but none of them work with Acer. I turned on Power Saver plan but it doesn't help. There is a preinstalled epowermanagement or something like that, but it doesn't work at all (I haven't change anything in the system yet, how come they sell a notebook with applications that don't work from the very beginning?). I don't know what else can I do to fix this fan problem. I need one of the following solutions:

    1) to be able to set fixed low rate fan rotation speed, enough to cool the system constantly without stopping the fan at all.

    2) to be able to change fan start/stop temperature threshold to increase the interval when the system works with or without fan. Now it turns on/off every 2-3 minutes and it makes me really angry.

Now I don't need much performance, I need a quiet notebook that I can leave at night for downloading. If the fan will rotate slow all the time, it is OK, if it will be stopped all the time, it is also OK, but if it turns on and off every 1-3 minutes, this is TERRIBLE.

Please assist a solution, this one stupid thing with the fan prevents me from using the notebook as I intended to when I bought it.
