Hello guys. I have Windows 7 Home Premium and suddenly my Fn brightness buttons stopped working. And a few weeks later, my Fn sound buttons started working differently. Before it was working like it was supposed to, now its not showing on my bottom screen my sound level and also it moves very slovely. Before there were around 10-15 steps of sound from zero to max sound, now there are like 50 steps (if you know what I mean). Any suggestions what to do?

Re-install Lanunch Manager- test the original version first and if it doesn't help try an updated one (version released for a laptop more recent than yours)

Brightness may be related to video driver- try to update it.
You may also check if it works with with SHIFT (SHIFT + Fn + -->)

I got an acer aspire 5755G notebook last week and re-installed the OS from Windows 7 home basics to windows 7 enterprise and after successful installation i also installed all the required drivers and suddenly my Fn brightness buttons stopped working. Can any one help me ASAP!!!!

Also in relation to sound ... the moment i click on windows media player i get an alert 'Windows media player has encountered a problem' and then there is no sound (including system sound) and i have to reboot the system inorder to resume the sound!

Is the Launch Manager installed and what audio driver are you using?
