    I am not going to pay $99 to send feedback to Acer, so...maybe The Acer Guy can raise this to those who can do something about it.

    In general Switchable Graphics should be an option, not something that is forced onto you.

    Many other Acer laptops offer the option to only use the discreet GPU, they all should.

    Crossing my fingers for a BIOS update.

    On those with optimus it's not possible to choose, just so you know.

    As for your issues, that's strange, back in the first machines to have the switching (via software) it seemed to be pretty straight forward.
