1.Is it worth it to put the T9900 processor instead of that I have now, T9600?
2.Is there a better processor except for T9900 that would work on my laptop ?

The X9100 is overclockable, though really is it worth it? It depends on what it does. It's unlikely to help your gaming performance.

If X9100 will work on my laptop, why shouldnt I go for X9300 ? Still, T9900 has TDP 35 W, not 44 or 45.

You would have to find out and see whether Acer have provided support for that CPU. X9100 dual core, QX9300 quad core. It could also be that the heatsink may not fit, and if it does could cause heat issues as the X9100 has 1 die, the QX9300 has 2:

Just a quick scan on Ebay and the price difference between the X9100 and the QX9300 is quite considerable.

Why do you want to upgrade the CPU? I don't think you would see much if any difference in normal use of the laptop, i.e. internet, office etc.

I still have the T9600. I bought a Momentus XT. This is better than upgrade to T9900.

Also, it is better to buy another laptop with i5 or i7. If you afford.

You can pick up an MSI barebones and sandy bridge CPU for not too much.

Is it really possible to set in a quad core ?
