    Hi from a newbie

I have acquired a second hand Aspire 8920G that didn't come with a hard drive. I have installed a drive and put on Win 7 Ultimate. I have installed all drivers etc but the only thing I cannot get to work is the Cinedash console. It won't even light up. I have tried all the solutions that I have found on the net (battery removal, compatibility of Launch Manager etc) but still it will not work.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Neil

Exactly. It's not windows 7. I have 7 ultimate on my 8920G, and Cinedash works perfectly. Even before installing the software, the basic function was there.
