Hi, I have had my laptop for approximately 6 months, I have a problem with powering up the monitor. From powering up screen the monitor stays on but the backlight keeps fading so that I have to consistently press Fn and F6 for at least 3 minutes before I can see the screen adequately. Also whilst this is happening I can hear a buzzing from the rear of the computer. The computer itself works brilliantly but as you can imagine this backlight problem is a little frustrating.

Is this a common problem and how easy is this to sort as I no longer have Warranty?
    Any suggestions very welcome!!!!
