    After purchasing the thing i immediately removed Vista Home Premium and upgraded to Vista Ultimate 64-bit however. Since then I downloaded multiple different versions of the fingerprint reader and without luck it just won't register my fingers at all.. Back when it was set to factory settings it worked just fine so i don't know whats up now :/

    Anyone has some kind of link to proper version that works on 8920? Tia...

    (yes i searched all over the forum but i just cant find what im looking for..)

    yeah, actually thats the one i got installed right now... it just keeps missing my fingers. Question when i got the laptop i did do the backup of the hdd through that framework tool thing... thats an actual image of my hdd right? if say i re-install my originsl os then make a backup of the drivers... those the thing actually also add the applications to the disc image?
