    My laptop died suddenly.
When I turn it on again, there is no display on screen.
I tried using secondary monitor both via HDMI and VGA, but the results remain the same.

Capslock and numlock indicator light does not light up when pressed. However cinedash can still react.

I've also tried holding the power button without the battery then turn it back, but it still does not work. The screen is still dead.

Then I tried to turn it on without a VGA card, the conditions are still the same.

BIOS version I use is 1:16 without any modification.

I had read that this is likely due to BIOS failure.
I want to do a recovery, but there is only phlash16.exe file with V116.ROM. I can not find files with the WPH extension.

Are there any ideas about what happened and what should I do?

Did it just happen out of nowhere? It is very unlikely that it is due to BIOS failure if you haven't touched it at all. The BIOS doesn't change just like that.

My thought exactly. It just happen out of nowhere.
I'm so desperate that I already tried many suggestions available on the internet. What do you think?

I'm sorry to say it, but I think it's hardware related. It is probably the motherboard that has died or the CPU. Well, the only thing you can do is to send it in, but it can be expensive, so it might be worth it to buy a new computer :-(.

Do you know the characteristics when a board is dead?
I just can't afford to buy a new computer :(

Most likely the MXM card has failed.

What should I do to be able to verify it?
Because I really hope that this is a BIOS failure alone.

No way this is BIOS failure - BIOSes don't just randomly fail on their own. Unless this happened right after a BIOS flash, it's something else.
