Hi all. I really want to add a second hard drive to my acer aspire 8930G. This will be a 64gb Crucial SSD. I will be installing Windows 7 on this and using my existing 320gb drive for data only. What I need is a hard drive caddy for the SSD.
Does anyone know where these can be bought and / or the equivalent Acer Aspire laptop models that I can search Ebay etc. under?
    Thanks

you don't really need the caddy(its only made of foil anyway)
you just need some small screws to put in the sides of the hdd

    Hi Shaken,

Ive just replaced my OS drive with a nice m4 and didnt need either the screws or the foil. The only reason you need the screws is to keep the foil 'caddy' in place. Otherwise its a push fit - the cover keeps the drives in place.

    Regards,

    Dave.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but do I need any type of converter or adapter or will a m4 SDD from Crucial simply plug in?
