Hi, just received my new / replacement battery for my Acer Aspire 8930G which I purchased from Dealextreme. Item 115798 out of interest.

    It does not work! :(

Firstly the laptop reported no battery. After refitting it started to charge, but after 6 hours was still only 2%.

To me this smells of poor connections on the battery.

My old battery only charges to 1400mah and discharges in about 5 minutes, hence the need to replace, but I do know the charger seems to work OK on this old battery.

    Any thoughts out there?

    Thanks,

    Bunnsters.
