Hi, i have a problem (at least I think is problem) with my laptop, it heats too much, I bought it like, 1 year ago. I visited a thread, at this forum, and saw this picture

where you can notice the cooler opening is quite bigger than the one on my laptop (see pictures) is this normal? also I get nigh temperatures readings on "HWmonitor" (CPU - 86C, 186F and GPU - 79C, 174F)![]()
what to do?![]()

Are the temps you quoted under load?
-
p.s it just got even higher (89C) -
Here's a link to a pic of the exhaust port on my 8943G. http://instagr.am/p/Im3uHvKsFl/
It is the larger size as noted in the mediafire pic. Nonetheless, my Aspire produces a tremendous amount of heat when running multiple programs. -
@nestorovski
Use gas duster (canned air) to clean the vents. If it isn't enough you may want to consider opening the notebook and cleaning it thoroughly and possibly re-pasting with high quality thermal paste. -
also, I cannot find a proper cooler stand for a 18.4" laptop, or a backpack!

Here's one, although I've had no dealings with the linked website:

Also, here's a pretty good thread discussing cooling options for your Aspire 8943G: http://forum.notebookreview.com/accessories/519531-cooler-suggestions-acer-aspire-18-4-8943g.html
