My problem is... well... that my Acer Aspire 8943g performs significantly worse than, according to the many many reviews I've read, it should. For example, when I play WoW or LoL (League of Legends) - Both on the lowest possible settings, I'll get ~20 and under FPS that drops with every minute I play the games. Normally after about 20minutes in a LoL match my FPS will be down to, and stay at, 5fps. When I watch high definition video it is likely that it will begin to lag severely after 30-45 minutes. I have tried researching, updating my GPU, I tested out the ThrottleTest and my CPU isn't throttling from what I can tell.

My best guess is that it's some sort of heating issue, but, I had a 6 year old macbook that ran LoL (through bootcamp) without any of these lag/fps issues and it got so hot I was sure I could fry and egg on it.

Essentially, I'm really at a loss and losing hope that I can ever fix this monster of a laptop.

    SPECS:
    Intel Core i7-72QM proccessor (1.6ghz, 6mb L3 cache)
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850 Up to 4083MB HyperMemory
    8gb memory
    500gb HDD
    8-cell Li-ion battery
18.4" Full HD 1080p LED LCD

I'm sorry but I meant to thank everyone in advance for looking at / and brainstorming over this problem. Thank y'all!
