    hi

I recently purchased an Aspire 9113 which seemed like a pretty good buy as it was discounted by almost 50% yet as soon as I got it home I decided there was something wrong with the screen.

After a couple of trips to the service centre I finally got the faulty LCD replaced which made things much better but still there's a lot of light leakage which means a black screen is anything but black and the colours are not particularly vibrant. I also notice that the acceptable viewing angle in the vertical plane is very narrow though when it's set right the colours are actually quite good.

There's a week to go until the 30 day replacement period is over for me to decide whether the machine is acceptable or to try and convince them to replace it.

My other notebook is a Dell Inspiron 8600 and suffers from none of these problems.

I'm thankful the Acer TM8210 is not plagued with this problem.

Yea, I have an 8204 and despite the reviews, the light leakage is pretty minimal... however it is noticable.
