    Hello everybody.

I did some reading trough the forum about this subject, and i have a new question:

    * how come, when i purchased this laptop, on the first run, the BlueTooth option was active and running well (along with the blue led button, next to the wireless enable/disabe button) and now, when i press the bluetooth button i get " no bluetooth device "

make sure you enable with the 'empowering tecnology' crap, then it should work if it doesn't??? I don't know see what other people think.

Try Start, All programs, Empowering Technology, Acer ePowering Management
There you should see a button to enable bluetooth. This is Windows XP.

does it state specifically on the specifications of the unit that it comes with bluetooth, because all of the aspire 9300's i've come into contact with very few have had bluetooth. Also as a side note i've seen the bluetooth light turn on during the first boot when the unit is installing various software and drivers.

Yep...thread closed. NBR does not the discussion of bypassing security measures like passwords for any reason. Do not bring it up again. Acer can help you one you demonstrate that the laptop is legally yours.
