same as every other computer... save all ur data in backup disk, findl all drivers for ut notebook, insert windows cd, restart and install... nothing easier than that

 

i can format anything.....

but it sounds like you need a bit more than simple answers

WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU TRYING TO ACHIEVE? you trying to put XP on it??
because that's my specialty!

YOU HAVE BURNED YOUR RECOVERY DVDS HAVENT YOU???

and i think the best way to do this is to leave it to BigO and stay of the thread or Charlie could get confused if we all post.

but the only disk i have for my laptop is called upgrade your windos vista experience

and yeh a do need a hand to hold y'all

 

do you have a DVD burner in that machine?

if so press the GREEN e button at the top right of KEYBOARD... that opens the empowering technology software... from there click on the eRecovery software application... it should ask you to make SYSTEM RESTORE DISKS.. (these can be made on CDs as well but will take about 15 as best i remember!)

make the FACTORY RESTORE DISKS...

why are we reformatting this PC?? what are your goals and objectives in doing this?

do you have the recovery disks made already?? or did you just skip that step and go straight to downloading torrents and other goodies?

 

i hve not got any recovery disks only and upgrade for windows vista thats it

 

well you need to make recovery disks just incase...

do that NOW!!! the viri shouldn't be able to corruput the COMPRESSED images written to the DISKS

ERECOVERY allows you to burn the disks...
i gotta run an errand... back in 2 hrs

 

is the virus blocking your attempts to burn the recovery disks.
if so you will need to do a factory restore.
Then Burn The Disks

EDIT: if you have windows running. Try Alt+F10 this should open recovery screen (if working).

i dont wanna bur disc i just was reformat it some please helpp

 

right i can see your just a PC/Laptop user and don't care much about how it all works.
so restart laptop and hold down Alt key and tap F10 as the laptop is starting (just after you push the on button).
it will ask you to format C: just accept, if you have a D: partition the virus could be hanging out there.

 

you will need two dvds and it only takes 10mins.but could save you loads of trouble later

did it ask if you wanted to do a factory restore.

lmaoo no a think its just sed summert like upload on to disc but it sed nothing about reformatin or restore im 14 in 7days thooo lmaooo

 

without the disks this is the only way.
is there stuff on the laptop you want to keep.?
if there is you could also be saving the virus. so you will have to try again with Alt+F10 and read what it is asking.
try and right it down for us and post it back on here.
