    Hello friends
recently installed my Acer Aspire 9800 removing XP and putting the Win7. The only problem I had is that there isn´t a driver´s package on the Acer site for this model to work with Win7.
Now the sound is choppy and the micro gives me a peak every time that happens.
All drivers were installed correctly, or at least that's what windows says ;)
    Some help please !!!

I know this is an old thread, but did you ever get this resolved? I have an old 9802 that I'm reviving for my daughter to play with and I have the same issue, sound is pretty damn choppy. I would also like to ask what has to be done to change out the wifi card. I used several cards and none of them detect networks because it won't allow me to enable the card. Drivers install fine.
