to funny ..didn't catch that. It has to be a typo as it follows same formfactor as 8204's..I imagine it is 7.8 lb
-
20" screen on a notebook? The end must be near. I don't think 17lbs. is a misprint. I suppose for point to point travel it could work.

-
probably true. msnealo and zazonc
comments on machine?specs?descent price (2700 cdn$) -
I think... It needs a better GPU. A 7600 in a 20" 'notebook' is pretty lack-luster in my eyes. =/
-
the screen is 7.8lbs
-
yeah this would sit at my desk and go absolutly NOWHERE. That is a behemouth thats at home on the desk, and not on the go.
very true...for something this size I expect a 7900gtx 512mb SLi setup as standard.... -
Considering it's weight I think that it falls short of what a laptop should be: a MOBILE system. For that amount of cash you could build a pretty nice desktop and still have money to spare.
-
I think I saw something like that in CompUSA the other day, they brought this stupidly large notebook past me, sure it works I guess, but if I want a computer to use in one place all the time I'll take a desktop over a notebook thanks.
-
Isn't this series meant to be "desktop replacements"? A bit big but sounds good.
Something that big I would just rather get a desktop though. -
Its a bloody breezing block! I prefer the smaller 15.4 unless you want a desktop replacement!
