    Acer Aspire AS5560-4334G75 on xp

    ok so 1 day i turn on my laptop and it freezes at the windows loading screen, i try everything to get into it again but nothing worked, so i did something really stupid and installed windows xp sp 2 and totally forgot 2 check 4 drivers first. so iam just wondering if there is any drivers out there or i should just put win 7 back on. :mad:

    It's gonna be very hard to get XP drivers for some of the new hardware.
    I'd go back to Win 7 if I were you. If you have a specific need for XP you could run a virtual machine.

    what about vista i just cant download that much.

    You might end up having to put a lot of time into getting it to run properly Vista by having to look for drivers and having to experiment which works and which doesn't. I had a similar scenario when I changed a Vista OS into XP and later again when I moved to 7. Plus, Vista has always been a poorer choice vs both XP and 7.

    Personally, I'd stick with 7. It's much, much better than Vista. Plus, as downloads has said run XP as a virtual machine if there is a need.

    OK so i installed it but when it restarts it goes 2 blue screen, hardrive is fine 2 :mad:
