I am just wondering if anyone has ordered this Acer laptop so far? It seems like a really good deal but I don't know if the laptop is in general reliable and won't become defective after a few months of use. The price is attractive but I'm not sure if I should buy it or not.

    Here's the link:

    Basic Specifications:
    • Intel Pentium Dual Core processor at 1.73ghz
    • 533mhz Front Side Bus, 1MB L2 cache
    • 1GB DDR2 RAM (expandable to 2GB)
    • SuperMulti DVD±RW/CD-RW drive
    • Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950 with up to 224MB of shared memory
    • 160 GB HD (SATA 5400rpm)
    • 6 cell lithium battery
    • Dimensions: 13.4(W) x 9.9(D) x 1.4(H); Weight: 5.3 lbs

This is a very good deal! I used two Acer laptops before. One of them was almost the same with this one but had webcam and AMD Turion64 TL-50. They both worked very well and were reliable.
The only reason I didn't buy this one is that I am still considering Dell Vostro1400, which is another superb good deal. This Acer is very good though.

Thanks for your response beef1218. Now, I am leaning towards buying it. I really want to get the dell xps m1330 but its way too expensive.
