At startup does not go to Windows (Vista).
    Goes to choose: Choose-
"Launch Startup Repair" or "Start Windows Normally"

    Chose "Start Windows Normally"
eventually ended back to "Launch Startup Repair"

IN "SYTEM RECOVERY OPTIONS" - - "Startup Repair" after a few seconds reading was as follows: System Volume on disk is corrupt
Repair Action: File system repair (CHKDSK)
Result: Failed. Error Code = 0X1F

    "System Restore"
Says specify which Windows installation you
    would like to restore.
    Gave example: rstrui.exe /OFFLINE:C:Windows
    > I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT TO DO WITH THIS!

    "Windows Complete PC Restore"
    > Couldn't do anything

    "Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool"
    >Result:"Windows cannot check for memory problems"

    "Command Prompt"
    >screen reads: X :\windows\system32>
I didn't know what to do with this!

    I NEED HELP!

LAPTOP ABOUT 1 YR AND 2 MONTHS OLD. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL TILL NOW.

    Tried: Acer Recovery Disc 1 & 2
    Acer System Disc (1 only)

    Did not help.

Did the: Hold "Alt" & "Tap F10" but ended up in "wait" for at least 1 hour; so I retarted.

Did not add or attached new hardware or softward.

    Do not have backup disks.

Sounds like your C: drive got corrupted, or possibly the entire hard drive is failing.
I honestly wouldn't know what to do except call Acer Support (if you haven't already).
What were you doing before the system failed?

Last Time Worked Was Gaming. Shut It Down. Next Day. Boot Problem. At One Point Tried Something And It Read "windows Is Loading Files . . ."; However, Waited An Hour And It Didn't Move Any Further.

    Thanks!
