Is it possible to overclock the T9400 in this to around 2.8Ghz? Does Acer not have options in the BIOS for this? Is there any way at all to do it?
Thanks!

Nope . . . .

No options in BIOS, and it's not the smartest thing to do in the first place.

I figured it wasn't too smart but with adequate cooling, it wouldn't be dumb. You have to remember that Asus has a turbo mode in their laptops with overclocks the T9400 to 2.83Ghz with the press of a button. It isn't like I want 3+ Ghz out of it.

Yes, but Asus probably builds their cooling system to withstand the extra heat generated. Acer didn't intend for their systems to be overclocked.

There's maybe a way I did not try because I could find a guide on it. I think the crystalcpuid application can add a step level to the cpu. You could also try to send information to setfsb's developpers about your laptop. But again, it would be very dangerous to overclock if you don't know what you're doing.
