    Acer Aspire E 15 screen too bright and white. Hurts my eyes.

    Intel HD graphics 520

    The screen is really white and bright. Especially when I am looking at web page with a white background it feels like my eyes are being fried. Lowering the brightness level doesn't help.
    Is this a Gamma or Contrast issue?

    Even with the screen lowered this happens? weird. Look to see if there are display settings like GAME or TExT somewhere in there...

    You could also try switching on the adaptive brightness in Power Options.
