Hi guys
I've read this review for Acer Aspire E15 E5-575G-53VG and it says that it can last 9 hours and 43 minutes while web browsing it has i5 6200U, 940MX and 6 cell battery. http://www.laptopmag.com/reviews/laptops/acer-aspire-e5-575g Do you think this is possible? But my main question is that we dont have the 6 cell one with 940MX. We have just 4 cell battery with i5 6200U or i5 7200U which one do you think will last longer on battery? I've read that this 4 cell one lasted little more than 5 hours :/ Also there is 6 cell one with 950M but it is more expensive and the battery lasts about 6 hours 30 minutes. I need this laptop for school so mainly I need a decent battery life and at least 940M.

These battery tests are not real-life tests so you can't really expect to get the same battery life in real life - sometimes you can get better one, but most of the time you get worse.
That said these are a good standardized measure for comparing battery life and the notebook you mentioned does have a very good battery life compared to other notebooks in this class.
Notebookcheck also tested one of the models in this range but with Core i7U and GTX 950M and in their standardized test they ended up with 7h 31 min on Wi-Fi which is again very good.
There will not be much of a difference between those two CPUs you've mentioned in terms of battery life and to be honest not that much in performance either (about +10% for Core i7). If you plan on gaming on it even a bit - Core i7 would be better (and 950M if possible).
If it's meant to do Office and Internet tasks - Core i5 will do as well as Core i7. -

It's hard do figure out because Acer website rates both 4 cell and 6 cell batteries as 2800 mAh. This doesn't mean anything though because we don't know the voltage of either of those so there is no way to compare them.
The odd thing is that notebookcheck quotes 62 Wh as battery power which with 2800 mAh would have to mean voltage of 23V.
That seems too high - voltage of the battery would be higher than this of a PSU.
Based on two reviews and ignoring Acer's website it would seem that 4 cell battery is around 41 Wh while 6 cell is 62Wh.
If we assume that Acer's 2800mAh would be correct capacity for a 4 cell battery that would mean - 4 cells each 700mAh.
And 41Wh divided by 2.8 Ah equals roughly 14,6V.
The 6 cell battery is supposedly 62Wh. Assuming these are the same cells than in 4 cell version (hence the same voltage) that would be some 4264 mAh (62 Wh divided by 14,6V).
Now since we have deduced that each cell was 700mAh (for 4 cell one) than 6 cell should be roughly 4200 mAh - which falls in line with previous estimation of 4264 mAh.
So the long story short - it seems that 4 cell version indeed 41Wh (2800 mAh) while 6 cell version is 62Wh (4200 mAh) hence the 4 cell should have the battery life of roughly 66% of the 6 cell.
I know the conclusion seems obvious since 4 out of 6 is 66% but you couldn't be sure until you could be reasonably sure these are the same cells with the same voltage and capacity per cell (which above maths seem to confirm).
So you are looking at some 5 hours to 6 hours on 4 cell one. -
Thanks man you are great
It really is strange to me that Acer doesnt sell this one here
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DT4A2R4?tag=price195-20&ascsubtag=173710474
It is or was the most selling one on Amazon... We have just F15ns with 6 cell but the price increase is significant. The 4cell i5 6200U, 940MX, 1TB HDD + 96GB SSD goes for 680$ here and the 6cell F15 i5 6200U, 950M, 1TB HDD + 96GB SSD goes for 800$ so 120$ price increase for a little better graphics that I dont really need and probably +1,5 hour on battery life is not really justifiable for me. If it et least had IPSalso I am not shure if the E15 has backlit keyboard here because it is not specified enywhere, but the F15 does.
