Hi, I have an Acer Aspire E15, when I turn it on , I get the logo and the rings too appear. But when it changes page, I get a grey screen and all I see is my mouse flickering.

Any response I get , thank you

That means BIOS self check is OK but Windows fails to start. Try safe my DE (by pressing F8).
If this doesn't help, get straight to reinstalling or recovering Windows.

It doesn't seem to be a hardware issue.

Try repeatedly pressing F8, it's hard to get the right moment. It's Windows related, not BIOS related so you have to time it right immediately after the BIOS screen.

If all else fails try ALT+F10 at boot which should start eRecovery.

Hello, I have a very similar problem. I see the startup screen on my aspire e15, but no rings. It happened after a gaming session ended with the computer freezing. I tried a cold reboot, but the computer would not start. In the last year, I have bought 3 cheap laptops and they are now all broken. The game I played was pretty basic, though. Do I need a more expensive computer to get a better chance of it lasting longer? Thanks.
